  • Ask Questions – Post your questions about life, career, study, or relationships.

  • Get Answers – Receive thoughtful responses from experienced seniors.

  • Video Call – Request a secure one-on-one video conversation.

  • Explore Blogs – Read stories, advice, and reflections shared by seniors.

  • Share Experiences (for Seniors) – Write blogs and offer guidance to the younger generation.

 

How can I register to “Wisdom Connect”?

To register:

  1. Go to the homepage and click the Join The Community button.

  2. In the log-in page, click .
  3. Fill in your name, email, and password.

  4. Public users can sign up directly.

  5. Senior users will need to provide a valid Seniors Card Number (9–10 digits) for verification.

  6. Once submitted, your account is created and you can log in right away.

 

How can I ask a question?

Asking a question on Wisdom Connect is simple:

  1. Go to the homepage – you’ll see the Ask a Question button clearly displayed.

  2. Click the button – this will open the question form.

  3. Fill in your question details:

      • Question Title – Enter a short title that summarises your question.
        Example: “How can I prepare for retirement?”

      • Please enter your question – Provide the full details of what you’d like to ask, so Seniors can better understand your situation.

      • Choose the Area of your Question – Select the category that best matches your question (e.g., Life Stories, Exercises, Books).

      • Preferred Response Method – Choose how you’d like to receive answers:

        • Text reply – Seniors will type out their response.

        • Video call – You can connect with a Senior in a live video conversation.

        • No preference – Either method is fine.

      • Privacy options – Tick if you’d like to:

        1. Ask Anonymously – Your name will not be shown.

        2. Make this question public – Allow others on the platform to view your question.

  4. Submit your questiononce posted, Seniors will be notified and can start responding.

  5. Check back anytime – you’ll see new answers in your profile or on the question page.

To write a Blog on Wisdom Connect, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Homepage – Start from the main page of Wisdom Connect.

  2. Open your Profile – Click the profile icon (the person symbol) in the top menu.

  3. Click “Blog” – In your profile, you will see a “Blog” option. Click it to enter the Blog section.

  4. Create a New Blog Post – Click the “New Blog Post” button to start writing.

  5. Fill in the Blog Form:

    • Title – Enter the title of your blog.

    • Description – Write your blog content. You can format text, add bullet points, or include links.

    • Tags – Add relevant tags to categorise your blog.

    • Image – (Optional) Upload an image to illustrate your blog.

  6. Submit – After filling in all required fields, click Submit to publish your blog post.

Your blog will then appear in the Blog section for other users to read.

1. Personalize your profile

  • Add your profile picture and a background image to make your account unique and recognizable.

2. Use the navigation bar
Here’s what each section helps you do:

  • Interest Groups – These are the topics you subscribe to through the Group Chat section.

  • Messages – Send and receive messages with your friends. Your full friend list also appears here.

  • Notifications – Stay updated on activities such as friend requests or group invitations.

  • Friends – Manage your connections here. A green dot indicates who’s currently online.

  • Settings – Update your account details or, if needed, delete your account.

Interest Groups are topic-based communities inside Wisdom Connect — for example, Careers, Relationships, Health, Hobbies. By joining groups that match your interests, you’ll see more relevant discussions, questions, and people.

 

Video Mentorship are 1 to 1 video conference that can be made even without any registration.

New Meeting
Start an instant video meeting right away. You can invite participants by sharing the meeting ID or link.

Join
Enter a meeting ID or personal link name to join an existing video meeting hosted by someone else.

Schedule
Plan a meeting for a future date and time. You can set details like topic, duration, and participants, then send calendar invites.

Technical Support
Access help and troubleshooting resources. Here you can find guidance, FAQs, or contact support if you experience issues.

A Structured Conversation is a guided chat with light rules and prompts that keep talks respectful, focused, and useful. It’s perfect for intergenerational topics—e.g., career advice, life skills, health, relationships—so everyone gets time to share and learn.
